Bricolage [bree-kuh-lahzh] Art Collective is a space for artists to showcase work and offers a location for patrons to acquire a variety of unique items.

The creation of Bricolage came due to the closing of a staple in downtown Paducah known as BeBe's Artisan Market. After growing a successful business selling Kentucky made artwork for over 15 years, it was something that simply couldn't go away. The mission of the business is to sell regionally made artwork by area artists, but also to feature a vinyl section, Paducah centric t-shirts and a mix of fun and unique items. The space is also available for rent and is a delightful atmosphere for workshops.

Bricolage Art Collective | One of 350 businesses chosen for the Backing Small Business Grant awarded by American Express and National Main Street

Proud to announce that Bricolage Art Collective received a grant from the Backing Small Businesses program presented by @AmericanExpress, in partnership with @NatlMainStreet. These grants provide financial support to small business owners to address critical needs and make a positive impact in their local communities. Grants of $5,000 have been awarded to 350 small business owners, and we are so
excited to be one of them!

For me, this grant will help us support local artists and maintain our mission.
We plan to enhance our online presence and continue to "AVOID BEING PREDICTABLE".

Bricolage Art Collective receives HartBeat Grant

Main Street America and The Hartford announced the second-round recipients of the HartBeat of Main Street Grant Program on January 6, 2021. Grants of $5,000 - $15,000 have been awarded to 31 brick-and-mortar small businesses across the country. Funds will help these businesses respond and adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic and help to revitalize and strengthen older and historic downtown commercial districts. In total, more than $1.2 million in grants have been awarded to 98 businesses over the course of the program.

Bricolage Art Collective was the only business in Kentucky to receive a grant and we are beyond grateful.

Of the 31 grants awarded, 26 benefited diverse-owned businesses, as defined by the Small Business Administration as minority, woman, veteran, disabled, and/or LGBTQ-owned. Grants benefitted a range of industry types – from bakeries and beauty salons to dance schools and breweries. 27 out of 31 grantee businesses are located within designated Main Street America districts.
